    video editing

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post about this, but what the hell. I want to get into video and have a PC. Is it worth getting a mac laptop to get final cut pro, or are there other programs that would do the same job like adobe premier elements or cyberlink power director?

    Re: video editing

I use Sony Vegas, and have done for few years now, updating as new versions have come out.

I have used several other video editors, including Adobe, but much prefer Vegas.

Don't use my 5D3 for video, but a Sony 500VE AVCHD camera.

Try 'googling' video editing software reviews.

All my editing is done on a PC, and always has been.

      Re: video editing

I have been editing video for many years and have always used Adobe Premiere from version5 to present Pro version.
It will have all you will ever need and also able to make your DVD's on Encore.
