    Chevys

There was a Classic Car show downtown, so the wife & I headed down to check out some of the cars. What showed up was mostly Chevy's so here are a few we liked:

    Camera EOS SL1 (100D) w/Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8

    1/250 sec @ f/2.8, ISO 100 @ 75mm

    1/800 sec @ f/2.8, ISO 100 @ 32mm

    1/13 sec @ f/10, ISO 100 @ 28mm

    1/160 sec @ f/2.8, ISO 100 @ 75mm

    1/10 sec @ f/11, ISO 100 @ 28mm

    1/8 sec @ f/11, ISO 100 @ 33mm

    1/15 sec @ f/13, ISO 100 @ 32mm

    1/320 sec @ f/2.8, ISO 100 @ 75mm

Nice set Tom I do prefer the more abstract views of these classics especially when they have amazing lines like these cars

How come some were taken at such slow speeds?

These are great Tom. The 3rd in particular has an almost (good) HDR feel to it.

            Nice Tom
Did you use a tripod for the HDR?

Totally agree. The backdrop really adds to the overall feel of the image too.

Thanks Ian. The reason some have a slow shutter speed was because it was during the evening light, most of the cars where in the shade and I has using a larger DOF to get more of the car in focus.

Thanks Scott, Dave, Stan, Phil, & Alan. None of the shots where done in HDR. All the post processing was done in LR to balance the highlights and the shadows. And I used a Tripod for all of the images.
