    php thingy....all the time

I'm feed up with it now. Please how do you stop it...Is it a problem with the site, if so should it not be sorted. I have never had this happen on other forums. I can't be bothered any more.

When I had issues I used another browser and cleared the problem - have you tried clearing your cache?

Saying that its been fine for months for me now - but I do understand your frustration

I use Google Chrome and it works fine for me, always has. IE can sometimes be a pain, hence my move to Chrome.

I use Chrome as well. And I have cleared the cache. It's plain frustrating.

Not happened to me for a while.....until 1 minute ago when posting a new thread with 3 images. Seemed to sort itself when i took all the images off and then added them and saved one at a time

are you downloading from flickr at full resolution by any chance ,i find the answer is to upload to flickr at 1024 pixels on longest edge and then download from there at the same ,not had a problem since very early in the year .to large a download size has been the problem with others users ???

Me either. I load to Flickr using the full size and then shrink it to post here.

the trouble when you do that is that your at the mercy of FLICKR applying there own restrictions on your photo ,the best bet Is to upload at 1024 or at least multiples of that ,and download the same ,especially when downloading to a site that has bandwidth problems

Tried to post two images last night but PHP problems, then read about resizing to 1024 but still the same tried this morning no problem

I know my way around Lightroom and Photoshop but what and where is the cache that needs clearing

depends what browser your using Alan, if FF you can get a plug in to the browser that just needs clicking, I think Chromes the same. Although having said that I've not had problems for months and I upload straight to flickr & use FF
