    Eglwys Oen Duw Church, variations.

    Three variations in treatment of Eglwys Oen Duw Church, near Beulah.

    Canon 7D 17-40 f/4L @17mm 1/250th/sec, ISO 100 15/July/2014

    Straightened in PS using Perspective Crop Tool, plus border from Nik Color Efex Pro 4:

    Grunged a little with Nik Color Efex Pro 4
    Tonal Contrast:

          The straightened one for me too as it looks more 'normal' but I do like the dramatic sky in the last one.

              Second option works for me. The last pair rather look like effects used for the sake of it.

              It's a pleasant shot on a nice day. If you want a more dramatic scene then I think you'll need to wait for more dramatic weather...

                Second for me too. Effect on last 2 a bit too much for me.

                If anything would drop highlights on the second to maybe get a bit of detail back in the clouds.

                  Have to agree second one with the more natural feel to it but just shows what can be done .

                    Yes the second one for me too. I shot something similar recently with the light kinda so so and converted it to mono and it worked for me.

                            Andy, the second for me, but then I do rather obsessively straighten all my building shots.
                            Of the two heavily processed ones I prefer the warmth of the stone colour of the last, but think the dramatic effect would be accentuated by going mono.
