A good angle. It's very difficult in bright light not to burn out the white throughts of Grebe's. The clever way is to get an angle that doesn't include it ........... well done.

Thanks Colin, it was more luck than judgement. I had been watching him for a while, when he suddenly popped up in front of me. I only had time for a couple of shots

Isn't that always the way with wildlife? Hours of waiting and then a few seconds of action. At least you were ready for it.
