      Thanks.

      It was taken on Lunga in the Treshnish Isles to the west of Scotland. You can get remarkably close to the birds as long as you lie flat on the ground. This is to protect the burrows on the cliff edge. I was about 8 feet away.

      Here's another taken while walking close by.

        I took this on Skomer with a mkIII and a Sigma 300-800:

          Greedy little sucker he is but I love the shot. I was saying to my better half how I would love to capture a puffin on film.
