    In the studio.

I was lucky enough to have a friend who volunteered to sit for me in the studio. Originally I intended to produce this in B&W, but after seeing it, I think I prefer it in colour! What do you think?

nice Jock I like that... I would loose the bottom 2 light bits you can see as using the bottom of the browser for a crop it seems to work better without them

You could also loose the dust bunny right in front of her nose ;o)

Works well in colour. I can see Ian's point on the crop and it could do with a little more space on the left IMHO

Yup pretty much what Ian has said already. I'd also be inclined to lose some of the most stray hairs.

          Re: In the studio.

Thank you all for the advice - as this is the first time I've tried anything like this, I appreciate all the feedback. I've uploaded a cropped and tidied photo to Flickr.

Jock, nicely done, well controlled lighting and the edit is a definite improvement. You should be pleased. If I may, there is one last stray hair by her lower lip that draws my eye.

Thanks AlexR! - my fault - I'd uploaded the wrong version - it has now been replaced.

Thank you everyone for the comments and advice!
