    I've never looked at the lens but is it for crop or ff camera ?

      it's a FF lens. I see the 14mm 2.8 is a very popular samyang lens too

        cheers - the 10mm would be interesting as I do find the 16 just not wide enough sometimes and hate having to compromise the image and point the camera upwards ... need to have a chat with the boss, least this time I can blame you

          I have a Canon EF-17-40mm F/4.0 which has hardly been used. It's been on the lenses for sale site. Offers around £350. complete with Hoya Pro1Digital UV filter from new
          Price now reduced, see ad. in "Lenses for sale"

            The widest non-fisheye lens is the Sigma 8-16mm. No bendy lines as it has been corrected for rectilinear distortion. and it's a very good lens. Have a look on www.photozone.de Also to be considered is Sigma's 10-20mm f/3.5 offering, another superb lens. along with, of course Canon's offerings, (10-18mm & 10-22mm) which I use and am thrilled with!- especially the latter.

              Might sound silly but why not just do a panoramic to get the width.
