Check the prices at HDEW. My 16-35 f/4 arrived last Friday from HDEW. Ordered Monday, delivered Friday and one heck of a lot cheaper than WEX.
Will be used on my 5D3 replacing my Sigma 10-20 which I used on the 7D

I have the 17-40L which I really liked to use with my 5DII whilst I had it and my 1DIV. I also have a 7D but felt the 17-40 was not wide enough for what I wanted as a landscape and a walk about in towns and cities. I bought the 10-18 STM and have been very pleased with it on the cropped body. The proposed new wide zoom would be a good compromise if the price is right.

Could just get a Samyang 10mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS CS for £279 :)

MF lens but a proper DOF scale on the lens and at that focal length the whole worlds in focus anyway lol

lol... joking aside it maybe an option as I'm often hard against something whilst trying to get a building upright with 16-35

A few people I know swear by the Samyang lenses and often laugh at me with my canon stuff. I'm loathed to buy one but often tempted like these days.
