I like this more than the yellow flower, there is much more detail in the subject, I may have tried to crop the image more to put the snail to one side away from the centre of the image.

To me, this photo doesn't look that natural. Did you place the snail on the leaf? Was it poked? Just the way it's positioned and the way the eye's/feelers are in, just makes it look a bit odd to me. Perhaps wait until it's on the move with the eye's etc out? I'm by far an expert though, just browsing through the forums, most natural poses look more natural, the birds in flight, the foxes alert and ready... if that makes sense :)
