    a view into the Langdale valley

    one taken the other week whilst at blea tarn,I was hoping for that bit of light to extend onto the valley floor but it wasnt meant to be. Still not a bad view though, thanks for looking

    It's a lovely photo of a lovely location, one of my favourite places to visit in the Lake District.

        That is very nice Dave, excellent composition with the rocks in the foreground and the slope of the landscape leading into the valley. Agree with you a ray of sunlight to lift the valley floor would be ideal but hey it's still a cracking shot and those foreboding clouds threatening the scene add to the drama.

                      Really nice composition and delicate , almost pastel, colours. Again I seem to be the odd one out in that I think the light in this image is fantastic. It truly reflects the sort of days you get so often in that part of the UK. The only problem with it as far as I can see is that I didn't take it !

                              Cracking shot, lovely composition really leading you into the valley.

                              Personally I prefer the second, brighter version but that's just me
