    Ben Lomond, Scotland

    Ben Lomond, Scotland
    by campsiephoto, on Flickr

I headed out this afternoon seeing that it was nice weather, one of those, car washed, fill her up, stick the shades on and hope for the best. I rarely get past Loch Lomond without stopping and it's rare to find a spot where you can stop.

A rare nice day in Scotland :)

Paul, great tones in the colours on the opposite bank, nice framing up the left hand side, wonderful textures from the ripples and classic foreground interest. Overall, a cracker! Well worth the trip I'd say.

Foreground rocks work well making a nice composition.

                    Re: Ben Lomond, Scotland

Thank you very much guys. Not been on all day so first time seeing this.

It's a 2 image luminosity blend. The rocks were far too dark so only way forward was to two two shots. Trouble with the slower shutter shot was it was milking the water ripples and the reflection was gone. So all the rocks in the foreground are my 'lights' shot and the rest was the standard exposure.
