    Not yet no. I did for a while on my old 7D but changed back. I know this is a stupid question, but when does it meter the scene, when the shutter is pressed or the focus is locked? If focus and exposure are locked at that point then OK, but if it meters as the shutter is pressed you lose where you were aiming for in terms of exposure. Am I rambling here.

    I have mine set to meter and lock so when pressing the button its all done and all i have to do is wait for the shot - or if I'm tracking hold it down

    I've found a vast increase in saved shots and I know lots that i would have missed had I not had my finger on the back button
