    Canon owners in Cambridgeshire

hi all is there any canon DSLR users in or around the Buckden,,,,,Huntingdon,,,,,St Neots area who can give me some pointers and steer me in the right direction for getting me more familiar with my 600D,,,,,I have plaid with it in full auto and done a bit in manual but it has a few other settings on it that even reading the manual is not quite going in yet,,,,,,,or is there any camera clubs in my area.

Can't help with you in your location but I started out with the same camera and found loads on YouTube that helped me learn and understand outside of full auto. As Ian says, hanging around here and asking questions or following certain posts will help you improve.

If you're feeling brave, post a few pictures and you'll get plenty of help and guidance too.

Thanks for that,,,,I will since my last post I have bite the bullet and bought a new lens,,,,I love close up stuff so it's a macro I bought could not get the deal I wanted on an 100 F2.8l so I bought the next best thing.

I have a Canon 100 F2.8 normal not the L IS am still finding my way around the camera and the lens,,,time is a factor for me working on the farm even more so this time of year but I have taken some pictures of flowers and other stuff and as soon as I find out how to get them on here I will put them on so all you good people can tell me where I am going wrong and what I can do to help myself.

        Regards paul
