    Moto GP Silverstone Friday practice

    My first post so please be gentle.

    Taken on the Friday practice sesion which was the only day i managed to get there due to my son being ill on the Saturday and Sunday.
    Will post a couple more when i get home as at work at the moment.

    Although I'm not a bike fan; these appear to me to be excellent shots... I'd be very happy if these were mine... Good job...
    I actively encourage constructive comment & critique of any image I post!
    Feel free to edit & re-post as you see fit - but please - tell me what you have done to 'improve' the shot!

      Great bike shots look forward to more when you get the time.
      If possible can you let me know what camera,settings,lens used.

        Really like the first one, just because it's the whole machine. You'd think they'd give you a wave as they went past, wouldn't you?

          Thanks for the comments and warm welcome.

          All pictures where taken with a 1DMKIV and 300 f2.8 with either a 1.4x or 2.0x Tc from the public side of the fence.

            Some really good shots there Gadgetguy.
            I particularly like the first shot of Lorenzo - nice to see the eyes with the clear visor on -- the angle of the shot leads me straight to those eyes -- well done.

              Wheel blur, chain blur, background blur ......... bike and rider pin sharp.

              Good publishable photo's with nothing to fault. Nice work!

                  More superb photos,Can you do me a big favour and look at my post from BSB cadwell park(its in the sports and action posts)and give me some advice on how to improve my technique.
