    Snowy Egret

A bit of a marmite shot. Even I'm not sure about it, just trying something different! Taken on Fort Myers Beach early one morning. The sun was behind a building so the bird was in shade. If I'd been using film I wouldn't have bothered. Played around with levels etc. in Lightroom. Quite like the reflection. If the reflected eye had been better I may have flipped it.

    1DX with 300mm f2.8 II lens + 1.4 III TC.

    Thanks for looking.

Love it, more as a piece of art than a wildlife shot!

I like it too - a super reflection, almost more natural than the egret itself

Cracking shot, love the reflection and strangely it seems to show more wing detail than the bird itself.

Ticks all my boxes and really like the reflection. As already said it's more high art which appeals to me
