That is a great street scene, seen so many places like this. The balance of the lighting is spot on and I love the slope on the road. Good one!

      Re: Resting Point

thanks Andrew - I do enjoy tracking these little back street bars down although I did know this one as I've used this resting point myself a few times when walking into the old town here

Lighting was a radial filter as I wanted to feature the couple and inside the bar

            Re: Resting Point

I do like your candid street shots - great lighting and good clarity for a high ISO.

            Well captured Ian!

Cheers Peter - I do enjoy street work, and starting to feel more at home pointing the camera towards strangers

One of the nice things about the 5D is it will handle high ISO ....hopefully the 5D IV will be even better ...( looks over the the wife with puppy dog eyes ;o))

Great shot Ian. You do compose and process these really well.

Now I don't mean to be picky but you do know the horizon is a little off, right

Using the radial filter is helping me a lot with these images Alan .....sadly it can't sort a wonky horizon ;o)

That filter is not something I've used at all or had the need but with two weeks off coming up, look out!
