    Canon IP6700D & Windows 10

If any of you people out there are using the IP6700D printer and are considering the free 'upgrade' to Windows 10, beware, there is no Windows 10 driver available. On speaking to Canon, they tell me that as they ceased repairing the IP6700D in 2013, they have no plans to provide revised software.....I feel a new printer coming on.......................

        Well........

The new printer turned out to be a Pixma IP8750........and Wow! After getting all the settings right (I print through Qimage Ultimate), the prints produced are the same as I see on the screen...for the first time ever!
VERY pleased! And, of course, it works with Windows 10.

With Curry's 10% off and Canon's £30 Summer Cashback the final cost was £172. Very reasonable for an A3 + printer.
