    Kingfishers from Dee

Despite the weather this morning we decided to go to Blashford to shoot the kingfishers again. Most of the time is was pouring rain but that didn't put the birds off with another 300 or so shots between us over a couple of hours

    These are some of Dee's

The kingfisher was diving from the same perch as earlier in the week and he caught something big

but it turned out to be a pebble so he dropped it

Those shots were cropped a little but to show just how close they came ( there were two of them again), these two shots are full frame with her 300f4 and 1.4x

                            Another of Dee's from yesterday

and this one when the rain was really heavy

and one from this morning - we went back early for a couple of hours, but not as early as two guys, who had been there since 5am, anyway this one was posing as we entered the hide
