I had some purple haze once, didn't look like that though

its an interesting shot and taken very well, and could almost look like a studio shot....I'm just not sure about her pose, I saw this a while ago and still think it just doesn't look right - be interested to hear what other think

Cheers Ian. Yeh I get what you're saying. I really like her face but not too sure about the arms. To be fair she was posing for 5 others and kept on the move.

Looking on Flickr I think the series of shots you took are great; really clear and very creative. Not sure this is my favourite.

I wouldn't have gone that far Alan, they are a nice set and something I have not attempted.

Nice one, a bit different, but works well for me.
Concentrate on equipment and you'll take technically good photographs. Concentrate on seeing the light's magic colours and your images will stir the soul. - Jack Dykinga

My first thought when I saw the title of the thread was who would make an image of a carrot!

I like the colours in the image all of which sit together very well, just a shame that a little of the haze is across the models hair. Looking at it it says to me "if only you had taken a step to the right" Still a great image though well done Alan

I see what you mean Peter. I could have cloned the smoke out but I kinda like the touch of mystery about it. If it had been a one on one type shoot then I would have explored more poses and angles.

I think these are super...really creative...I've been back and forth to look at these before I comment and the first thing that strikes me each time is the volume and density of the smoke on the left side of the image doesn't balance with the right hand side...apart from that I can't really offer anything more constructive....thanks for posting these...I find them inspirational and aspirational for me.

Thanks for the comments and kind words Brian. Yes point taken about the balance of smoke. Being out doors the poor guy with the bomb was having a torrid time trying to control it lol, and keep it out of the models eyes too.
It was a really fun and educational day and something I will be doing more of, just need some free models.....anyone??
