          Thanks guys. Took a fair few but these seemed to be the best of a bad bunch. Bit bleary eyed getting up at 2.30 am

            I set my alarm at that time but unfortunately the fog/mist had started to spoil things so went back to bed.

                You did very well with the 2nd shot Ray. What settings did you use?

                    Hi Ray, as you've said 420 I assume 300 + 1.4 TC so aperture would be 5.6?

                          Hmm you may be right but I was using a Sigma 120/300 2.8 os with the 1.4 tc so in my book that makes it f4
