    Dragonfly

    About two days after the 100mm is macro was given to me I was happy to get a shot of this.

    Good shot though perhaps a bit tight in the frame?

        re-edit the image with more space

          Got carried away with the crop,but here is one I left. I was so over the moon that`s why it was a mistake to over crop.

              Two days with a new lens is that's what you caught, wow. Great shot and much better for a bit more space.

                A very nice shot of a common darter -either a female or could be an immature male. Your framing of the second shot is much too loose now - it's not the best of backgrounds so your original crop concentrates attention just on the dragonfly, it just needs a little more space above and to the right

                      Thanks Tom. On a lot of my macro shots I do crop in,but macro to me is Close up.

                        The hardest thing in Macro shots like this is to get the eyes nice and sharp and you've done that in this image so well done
