    Hi All

    Looking at starting a web site for selling pics etc...anyone used online template with e-commerce etc..if so, any suggestions please?

    Like a few on here i use Smugmug that serves me well,just click my link in the signature below.

    But there's plenty of choice whether you set up your own or buy a template you'll get some good advice on here that will get you started in the right direction.

    The hardest part is getting regular traffic to your site.

        I use Shootproof for my galleries, which is good as a starting point because it's very low cost and gives you full functionality, set your own prices, discounts and offers etc even on the entry level, which is free up to 100 images. Pricing is scaled by the number of images rather than by functionality.

          I suppose it depends on your skill level, if you want to invest cash into your site, ave start up fees £60-£100 running cost £10 yr thereafter and if the money making is just for fun or you want to make serious income from it
