          How did you pull it off
          the base for the shot was the Florida Shells from this thread which I turned into a spiral using a photoshop action and when flattened made the toppermost element of the image. The layer is then duplicated another 30 or so times, each time reducing the size by 10% and rotating by 6 degrees and then re positioning to form the comet shape.....well you did ask
