    Peak District 2014

    Hi all,

Found some old photos on my old laptop so had a plat with them in LR. They were both taken on my old eos 1200.

Number 2 is one a great shot, those light beams gives the photo a warm glow.
        With kind regards,

Number one has good leading lines, but it's the second that stands out to me.
The lighting and foreground makes the second image have a great impact.

              Re: Peak District 2014

There are a couple of things I find slightly distracting. In the first picture the dark blob of cloud in the top right, in the second the rather unattractive single fence post in the foreground. I find that my eye is drawn away from the main scene to these objects and personally I think the pictures would be better if they weren't there. Just an opinion. The barbed wire is also visible, not that obvious but still can be noticed.
