Editing EOS 7D Movie footage on a Mac

    Hello,
I have just started to use an EOS 7D for shooting movies & I hope to edit using the latest iMac loaded with Final Cut Express 4. I have downloaded MPEG Streamclip & Handbrake.
Could anyone advise as to the setup procedures in final cut exp. for full HD editing in PAL as there are so many variables for the beginner. I have edited in FCE4 for some time using dv tape in SD, but this is a whole new ball game. Also, any burning tips for idvd output.
    Many thanks in advance.

Hi Tone - I'm afraid I can't help you with FCE as I've mainly stuck with iMovie for any video edits.
Would suggest you check out ffmpegX for conversion of flies - its FOC and has a little more capability than Handbrake.
