I`ve recently had my 6d say when i put my (5 month old) sandisk sd cards in it say card is locked so it can`t be used ,they have been returned to amazon and today i brought a new sandisk card from tesco and the camera has said the same thing has anyone any ideas please is this a camera issue

daft question you have made sure the cards aren't locked ?:- Ian
5D Mk III, 24-105 / 70-200 f2.8 L / 100-400 Mk II / 100 macro / 16-35 L / 11-24 L / 1.4 & 2x converters and a bad back carrying it all ;o)

Switch camera off, remove battery and leave for a couple of minutes, replace battery and try your cards again. If problem still exists then return the camera to Canon for fixingJames Boardman Woodend

These hiccups can happen on odd occasions - however, if it keeps recurring then the camera needs looking at.
