    First ever studio shot

    Hi folks,

I would just like to share my first ever studio shot, from a session last night at our club. Just had a continuous light to my partners left and a simply light behind for some back lighting on the studio wall...I'm quite happy how it turned out. Clearly, I have so much to learn on this type of photography, but, i'm keen to get better and learn all I can.

Really like the composition Andy and the conversion too. I'm no expert in studio work but to me the soft lighting looks spot on.

More importantly, what does the boss think??

Nice image, I think the lighting works.
My only comment is it might be better if the hands had not been cut off.

Thanks for the comment Andy...Yes, your right. I was concentrating a little too much on the face / top of the body area's and never realised I'd clipped the hands off...lesson learned there mate...Cheers

Nice image and light I think - perhaps there might be a good portrait head and shoulders with a tight crop?
            Cheers
