    march high tide event

    the next mega tide on the dee is thurs 10th march at 11.54 a.m,see above post for general info.there have been quiet a few good sightings in the area of late including ,several short eared owls ,3 or 4 great white egrets ,marsh and hen harriers ,peregrines ,merlins etc
    as usual everything depends on winds and air pressure ,the best is a south westerly blow coupled with low air pressure

      Frost and snow predicted Jeff, not sure if you'll get it or not, bit vague yet, but minus 12 on the cards for some lucky people.

        That makes it better ,as last years reeds are still high ,needs a hard frost to kill them back
