I used a 400D years ago and then moved to a 7D with battery grip for wildlife and nature. I then tried a 5D II but that went to my daughter for a while so I bought a 1 DIV on this forum. A wonderful camera with all the controls falling so well to hand. I have toyed with the idea of a 1 Dx and was also considering getting something to shoot more video. The 1 Dx II covers all areas so will be releasing my 1 DIV and various lenses, guitars etc to pay for it. I have used the 1 DIV on long walks using a rapid strap without problems, usually with a 70-200 f4 or a 300 f4 and a 17-40 in my pocket. As I already have a 7D II I look forward to the 1 Dx II's full frame sensor. The 1 DIV is so good I am almost tempted to keep it as a backup.
