    Some close up photos

Hi folks, how's everyone keeping? Long time no post and all that!

I've been trying out some close up photos recently, just trying to make the most of my surroundings. I've tried to go down the less is more route. I haven't had much luck with landscape scenery of late, possibly due to lack of motivation to get out to different places.

    Here's a selection of images.

      Blimey Andy

that really is a bit of an image overload if you want meaningful feedback

Out of them all, the first image is a winner by far and is really n line with your statement "less is more"

Very nice set Andy, all well thought out and composed, but for me, that 1st image is the one that stands out among the rest.

HI Andy, welcome back - I trust nothing nasty has been keeping you away.

I really like the first image, a touch of Zen about it, and the last one -tranquil. I'm less keen on the OOF foregrounds on numbers 2&3. I realise it's deliberate, but it doesn't sit comfortably with me - purely personal taste.

Nonetheless an interesting set. Glad to see you back.

Yes, the bokeh/blur thing is very much down to personal taste, although I am enjoying doing something that's giving me a change from the usual stuff ;)

That's my favourite too, I like the subtle light in the background.
