    OK - here goes for a couple of macro suggestions.

    For macro reflectors for plants and fungi, stick a roll of kitchen tin foil in your bag, tear off and shape to use as needed

    To hold plants still in a breeze, get a couple of long knitting needles, get some stiff wire and wind it round the ends, make a hook loop, plug them into the ground and use the hooky bit to hold the plant steady just out of shot.

    Tissue paper and grease proof paper make excellent diffusers for monoblocks and flash guns.

      Like the idea of kitchen roll.
      Tend to use a small Lastolite for reflecting light but find that the white polystyrene discs often found under supermarket pizzas (not that we buy those...) act just as well.
