its surroundings really spoil this for me.

even if you cropped the path off you'd still have the awful brick wall

Not sure I would be wanting to walk along that path. Nice snap shot, but the wall and the twigs really spoil this as an image.

The irony is this is my most popular image on flickr, hundreds of views and faves in the first 24 hours, I consider it one of my weaker images, but joe public seems to love it!
Edit that 2500 views in 24 hours or so, bonkers.

Erm, yes, sorry tiger please don't be offended but it does nothing for me. But as they (almost) say, there's nowt as strange as folk, and if others like it, who am I to disagree? I would recommend taking off at least the top third as the wall adds nothing, but he is still hiding behind the twig. Perhaps that is clonable but then there's the tarmac path and the scrappy turf spoiling it. Shame, because he looks a lovely bear.

It's a great bear, didn't know it lived there, so next time I'll take the 100-400 lens and see if I can get a tighter shot. The surroundings are what they are unfortunately. I did think about nipping over and moving the twig, but thought better of it, all the other shots are unusable. Happy with the detail with the kenko 1.4tc on the shorter lens so all was not in vain.
