    Tom Robinson

Tom Robinson by Andy Leslie, on Flickr

Tom Robinson at the Great British Folk Festival, Skegness, 5/12/15.

Taken with my then extremely new 7D2 plus a 70-200mm f/4L with 1.4x extender (no flash) and processed with DPP to TIFF, thence with Photoshop 6 this demonstrates the much improved noise handling by both the camera and DPP at an ISO of 4,000.

Lovely lighting, Andy, and you've caught a great facial expression. Excellent image.
And great to see that Tom is still performing; I still consider Power In The Darkness as one of the greatest albums of its time.

But it's a stratocaster - wouldn't cutting it out be sacrilege? (although I would agree with you in terms of composition).

Well captured Andy, my first thought when I saw the title was "Two, Four, Six, Eight Motorway"

Nice shot, though I've no idea what chord he's playing. Agree re. the crop.

As is often the way, Ian is making sense.
Nice image, just a small crop potentially needed.
