Must have been taken on a Canon.

It's interesting, bright, well exposed, good composition, super quality and you have to ask the question: "What is the goat looking at?" It all adds to the interest.

I would have cloned out the red lead, or at the very least desaturated it, but that's getting off the point.

That wouldn't be another Goat of Kent by any chance, would it?

My understanding of Lottie is that she is a Linconshire Nanny living in Kent

Visit some canon/nikon web sites and look at the specifications, decide which models sound right for you and then go look at both, hold the im your hand. What ever you decide, you cant go far wrong with either Canon or Nikon. We on this site have made our choice and decided for Canon... as everyone says, you won't get an unbiased view here...

Re: What is a good beginner landscape camera? Nikon or Canon?

I use a Canon, my mates use Nikon. In everyday photography there is little to choose between them, image quality generally come down to lens choice and the users ability to use the camera, I am still learning so produce much more naff shots than good shots yet..... lol
My main reason for going with Canon is my primary hobby, Astrophotography. Canon sensors produce much less noise during long exposures than Nikon sensors, Canon cameras also suffer less Amp Glow under the same circumstances.
