    Floating Apple

Another idea seen in a mag. Tried it out with both green and red apples. Both are comprised of just two shots and blended in PS

    Re: Floating Apple

I think the second one is the stronger image Stan as you see the cuts head on.

BTW thanks for letting me know which magazine you found the veggie pencils in, I picked up a copy yesterday [emoji106].

I'm not sure if I'll ever use the freebie hot shoe bubble level though [emoji15]

the first is in the magazine but I thought, apart from the cuts showing more, the red was a better colour

Nice, Stan. I too prefer the angle of the second.

                  Clever stuff Stan.
Like the first shot but I'm biased, I prefer green apples to red every time.

Very clever as usual Stan. Taking it to another level, why not completely separate the sections and have them floating independently of each other?

Thanks Bill , Ian and Alan

Good idea Alan but a bit more complicated as the Apple is a single shot and would need to re shoot with a number of frames. Something to try out on return from our long weekend break

Clever Stan. I've no experience of the Blend Tool I must take a look at it. I have this mental picture of a long spiral of apple peel hanging from the sliced apple into the bowl below .........

not really a specific tool as such just using selections, layers and masks

looks like I will have to get a kilo or two of apples
