    The Great Britain IX Steam Tour

    The Great Britain IX Steam Tour paid a visit to the Westcountry on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

    On the Wednesday I was able to photograph it at 2 locations, this was due to the tour having an hour and half break in Plymouth.

    LMS Royal Scot Class 7P 4-6-0 no 46100 Royal Scot crossing from Cornwall into Devon on the Royal Albert Bridge.

        Both are excellent images Colin, but the 1st on ticks all of my boxes.

          Great shots, we were due to get the train(with a different loco) past our village today, but the Aberdeen leg has been cancelled and the train now goes through Perth. That was the only train scheduled for the year, not happy.
          Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way

            Both lovely images, Colin, and well captured. For me, the added interest of the lines of that gorgeous bridge make no 1 the winner.
