Just be careful indoors if you are in AV mode, your shutter speed could drop really low and give you ablurred image.
I used to do weddings for friends and family ( in the 35mm film days ) and yes, it can be quite nerve wracking. Make a list of the essential shots that MUST be done then look out for spontaeous shots as you go along.
I like to set TV mode for indoors then I can control the shutter speed. Slower shutter speeds will lighten the back ground more ( as will raising the ISO )
