    The Tynesider

The Flying Scotsman returned to the North-East again on possibly one of the worst days of weather for a while , This trip included a run on part of the old Blyth and Tyne Railway

Thanks for the comments ! It was a really awful day , it had been grey and low clouds all morning then about half an hour before her arrival it started chucking it down ! I'd also like to thank the photographer who walked past me and then set himself up in front of me on a pair of steps and then proceeded to shout at anyone who stood in his way ! You can hear him on the video i posted on Flickr . The weather was marginally better on the teatime return but again it started raining just before her passing .

Not the best of weather but the first has come out OK and the mono although with that you need to get rid of the power lines

                  Re: The Tynesider

A very nice set despite the weather

I like the first very much as you have the entire train in shot and, if you extend the canvas just a little to the left and clone fill it will make a good shot even better.

The mono is nice too and with such a uniformly grey sky losing the power lines should be easy.

Including a motorbike (Yamaha R1 ) is always a nice touch

                  Cheers,
                  John
