St.Asaph Cathedral Voluntary Choir Concert 23rd July 2016

Yesterday, 23rd July 2016, was the first anniversay concert by the Voluntary choir. This choir sings at the cathedral when the usual choir is away on holiday- half term, summer holidays. The members are largely composed of ex-choristers. The only qualification is that, apart from having a good voice, they should be able to read music. Attached are a few pictures taken at the concert which was very well attended. All pictures taken with the Canon 6D + 24-105mm lens, auto WB,auto ISO,Manual mode with TV 80;AV 5.0-5.6. The pics showing the soloist and conductor were taken outside the cathedral, before the concert and I used fill in flash.

Well documented Nat. If you look at the first 4 images I think you'll agree the WB of the 2nd looks fine whilst the others look 'warm'.

Thanks Ant. Yes, I agree. The problem I had is that the lighting was being changed on and off & with the "spirit" lighting in the Cathedral,I found it difficult and the colours not quite right when I changed the WB. Furthermore the setting for the whole evening was generally "warm" and the one you pointed out was actually the "exception"!

For me the second is 'right' as skintones look more natural and whites look better. Guessing these are jpeg so a bit limited what you could do but even so if you felt it necessary you could tweak the colour.

Thanks Brian and Ant. Yes, these were taken in Jpeg and I will play around the colours in PP. No problem.

I have now replaced the rather "warm pics" with the duly corrected ones. I hope this makes a difference. Your comments are appreciated.
