    Disappointment on the Torbay Express...

Scheduled 46100 must have had a mishap as this Class 66 turned up instead

I would've been happy with that shot John, now just convert it to BW and it would be perfect

          Shame...

I once offended a railway engineer who had responsibilities for Class 66....I asked him if it was that Victoria Beckham had a hand in the design of the Landcover Evoke...perhaps Jo Brand had an influence on the class 66.....I think he found it amusing....turned out he actually owned his own example.....no offence to Jo Brand...she's a great comedian.

              Like it Brian

I also liked the 59s when they were introduced and visited Yeoman at Merehead for an open day and saw the entire fleet in a row. The 59s were nice because of their novelty value but the 66s are now ubiquitous I've got a picture of one somewhere (LR Library wouldn't find it) that was dropped while being offloaded from the boat (they were made in north America) and it bent like a banana so was written off never having turned a wheel in the UK
