What's the point(s) get it?
Nice and unusual fascinating image, if it wasn't for the sleeper remains it would look like the remains of an old church window, I love photographing corrosion.

Well spotted great composition with the rails in the top corners, did you consider flipping the image so they are in the bottom corners. The salt has certainly helped/accelerated the corrosion.
