    How much to charge?

I've had the council contact me and wish to meet up and discuss having 24 360degree panoramas made for a promotion for December. I use my 6d to make 360's. It sounds like the shots will be venues and landscape around the city. The 360's I make usually take about 3-4 hours to shoot and put together. How much should I charge assuming I get the job?

Calculate the hourly rate you wish to charge for your labour (assuming you're not a Pro use the hourly rate of pay from your day job) Then based on your experience of the time it takes you to make a 360 image include processing time and travel/set up time. This will gave you a base hourly rate to work with, don't forget any local tax implications that may be required on your earning. Then decided on what % profit you wish to add on for your time, expertise and any potential earnings from other opportunities with the council. The other consideration is how you license the council to use the images. Good luck

    Best Regards

I'd say Peter got it just right - don't forget to include travel costs as well so work out a mileage rate
