    Bean bag

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good bean bag, to support the Sigma 150 - 600 out of a car window or in a bird hide?
Some are available ready filled with polystyrene beads, others empty and recommended fillings are rice, beans or sunflower seeds. Any preferences? Unfortunately I have no sewing skills and nobody to sew for me, so that sort of diy isn't possible.
Or are other methods of support, such as a clamp, preferable?

    Re: Bean bag

i have and use two different sized ones ,both are of the saddle type i.e the leg sections hang down either side of the car door leaving a flat top platform to rest your lens on ,the different sizes accommodate target height levels .the small one is stealth gear the larger one was via e/bay .

as for filling i have tried poly beads on there own and while lightweight they allow to much sagging to occur ,i finally settled on a 50/50 mix of poly beads and bird seed this gives medium weight and a stable platform .

you can also buy medium sized ready filled ones from e/bay and this is probably the easiest and best option for around £35 i'll try to find a link

Many thanks for that, I've found the large one on Amazon at only 4p more, I'll get one when I next order from Amazon as I have a Prime account with guaranteed next day delivery free, I'm out so much that I need to know which day things are coming. I've more than two sacks of bird seed in the house, so no problem there, will mix things up until I'm happy..
Thanks again, always good to get advice from someone who actually uses things and really knows what they are doing.
