Thanks very much Sue,Alan & Garry. Comments much appreciated. I thought I must mention that I had to move seats during the interval to be better positioned to take the pictures. I didn't want to take the top of Dye's head from where I was first seated. I also must add that "reds" come out very well in photographs. Shame that PC has denied the public from enjoying a more true to life performance.

Not my taste in music, Nat, and I'm not too keen on his taste in clothes either
me neither but the clothes do make for an excellent photographic outfit and stand out well from the dark background. The only slight offput in all apart from the last is presumably due to the position of the venue lights whenever his right arm is across his body it has cast a black shadow over the outfit which taken with the black background looks like some of his body is missing - not something you could sort though

Thanks Stan. Much appreciated. The shadow is something I couldn't avoid despite changing seats! Flash would have helped but I'd have been thrown out!!!!!

I'm not usually very interested in pictures of people, but I really like these, character and quality. Also a very good example of how well these "entry level" lenses can perform when used correctly, you don't always have to spend a fortune on "glass" to get good results, you just need to know how to use your camera and lenses properly.
