    Dragonfly at rest

    At Dunwich Heath a couple of weeks back there were still loads of dragonflies around. This is one of the better shots and I think it's a Common Darter.

    looks like a male common darter

      You did much better than I did when I was there. Never got one that stayed still long enough.

        The darters were fine and posed quite well. You should have seen me chasing round trying (and failing!) to shoot a Common Blue or a Hawker
