Having today just responded to Roberts thread regarding the use of tripods. This is an example where I hand held the camera for the five image panorama was taken in 2014. I've only just today processed the five image stitch.
This is looking down on to Lyttelton on the South Island of New Zealand from the Port Hills. Lyttelton was the port used by Ernest Shackleton for his expeditions to Antarctica. The island (Quail Island) to the right centre of the image was used as a quarantine station during the 1870's and later there was a Leper Colony there too.
For those interested I've also posted a larger version on my Flickr photostream.
