Well done for finding one in good condition. I find that they decompose rapidly once the fruiting body erupts. Nice shot.Russell

excellent, being picky that blade of grass in front needs to go:- Ian
5D Mk III, 24-105 / 70-200 f2.8 L / 100-400 Mk II / 100 macro / 16-35 L / 11-24 L / 1.4 & 2x converters and a bad back carrying it all ;o)

A nice shot - they are quite tasty as long as you can get them into the pan within a very short time of picking them - don't mix with alcohol though - can give weird effects!
