    Stained Glass windows

Recently a member who is interested in Stained glass windows sent me a PM to give my opinon on them. I am of course not an expert but I do take pictures of lots of stained glass windows which adorn many churches. They are so intricate and such excellent works of art. I attach a few that I took from my own St.Asaph Cathedral and one of which was made into a Christmas card for the Choir Association.

The last picture was made into a Christmas card with due credit to me and is selling very well.

Thanks Derek. I also have got another picture of mine on a Christmas card (a choir photo) and these (along with the above one) came out last year (2015) and still selling ( a set of 5 cards in a packet for £2.50).The Cathedral has also made two large pop ups with my pictures of the choir and actually acts as a plug for new members to the choir. When I have the time, I will take some pics of these and post them somewhere on a suitable thread.

Good work Nat and inspired to use an image to make Christmas cards The same comment I made to Daisy applies, however, as for some of the images you weren't straight on so have some distortion that the cross-bars make all too visible. But, also like Daisy's, is easy enough to fix in post.

                Cheers,
                John

Thanks John. Yes, I am aware of it and will fix the same in due course. However, on some I have left it as it is as correcting the crossbars would make me lose some of the edges, which I wanted in the photo. I actually took these photos to help a Cathedral guide to show some vistors/tourists around.
