Works well Stan They do look very uniform as if it's a laid pavement - is it?

      Cheers,

I like that. As John says it looks man made.

            Re: Textures

Like the colours and textures but for me doesn't work as a shot. I too have tried similar and not been happy with my efforts.

                  Re: Textures

Not sure if its interesting enough?...I'd be tempted to boost vibrance and clarity further, add a dark grad to all sides and and throw a pool of light using a radial filter onto a selection of the stones as a focal point. Maybe even mono. Do you mind if I have a go?

                    Re: Textures

I'm with Brian and Alan- just not sure it's interesting enough

Think I'd have moved the bit of rubber-band seaweed as it's not strong enough to be a focal point of the picture, but it needs something to give it the x factor.
Canon EOS R5, R6 plus the usual suspects ......

I like it as it is, prefer the subtle variations. Doing things as above would to me make it a "messed about" photo, exactly what I don't like

I understand Richard.....I shouldn't guess that the originator wanted to produce anything different to that which was posted....its just personal preference and opinion.....I'm just more Motorhead than Vivaldi at the moment!

                            thanks for looking guys

When I took the shot I could have included some of the water in the frame but was thinking more of shooting to use as a texture option to blend with other images.

Both edits by Brian work, in fact I was thinking of doing a mono conversion myself
